Secrets and Flashes of Gold

Does she know that she is a dragon inside? Probably not, the Dragon is very careful with her secrets.

Before the time when humans learned to walk on two legs,
there was a time of magic,
and dragons.

But as the humans evolved and learned to be cunning, the magic was hidden lest they use it to destroy themselves, and the Dragons withdrew into secret places lest they remind the humans of the magic that was still there but was not seen. One with glittering emerald scales and flashing golden eyes now walks the earth as a woman (this Dragon’s secret place).

Does the woman ever, as she looks into a mirror, see a quick flash of gold in her brown eyes?

Probably not,

:-) No, that's all there is to it. A few years ago I met a lady who was interested in dragons and I was interested in her. I made up that little thing just trying to impress her. My writing talents are, at best, ok. I have to struggle way too hard to crank out a page or two of acceptable stuff. I'm a fan of The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher whom I consider to be an unusually talented writer. I'm constantly impressed with the cleverness of his writing and If I could write like that I'd be doing a lot of it, but I think I serve better just by reading and learning. Oh well, good luck to all. I'll be lurking about.
